Whenever I'm on this side of town (I
live in Richmond) I try to make damn
sure that I drop in. This is one of, if
not my FAVORITE BBQ JOINT IN HOUSTON. I
think that's hard to come by around
here.
I always go in and get the
2 meat dinner - my choices? the spicy
sausage and THE most tender flavorful
brisket - I am getting so hungry typing
this out...and the BBQ sauce is indeed
that - sawwww-sayyyyy and flavorful!
to complete my meal are all little
pieces of heavenly perfection - the
delicious beans, the loaded mashed
potatoes (gahh! yummy! but make sure you
get fresh ones - if there's not much
left in the countainer they have out, it
tends to taste funny after it's been
sitting out when they put in on the
plate for you), and the cornbread (so
fluffy and it has little bits of corn in
it! and it's the only place I know of
that has Land o' Lakes butter with honey
in it - hey this may sound crazy to you,
but it makes all the difference. yum.
Seating is never a problem here, I
love the super country music that they
play, and I always leave with leftovers
which are just as good the next day. Try
it!
