Y'all Listen Up

The Highway Don’t Care. But We Do.

Back in 1998, our first restaurant was forced to close due to highway construction overtaking the majority of our building’s parking. Which is why this current construction on Highway 290 has us feelin’ like we’ve got a case of déjà vu. But we bounced back then, the closing paving the way for our first Harris County Smokehouse restaurant, and we’re showing our resilience now.

Despite once again being forced to close our doors because of highway expansion, we couldn’t be more excited about the product of this tribulation.
As Harry put it to our local paper Community Impact, “We’ve been at the [Hwy. 290/FM 1960] corner for more than 20 years, and the community has been good to us. The highway expansion has been challenging, but we think once it’s done, business is only going to get better.”

Our new location is still in the works, but it will be a sight for sore eyes once it’s complete. Not to mention, we get to keep doing what we care about most – servin’ the friends and families of our community delicious, quality breakfast and BBQ.

Thank y’all for the support! We can’t wait to welcome you to our new home!
