We love this place! This is true Texas BBQ at it’s finest. Haven’t had anything bad yet. I love the free rolls and sweet cornbread. I honestly think this place is underrated in our area. They just opened a new location out in Katy and people are raving about it. They serve waffles and pancakes and catfish and whatever else you can think of. And they have the best BBQ sauce (not that you need it). The atmosphere is great too. Any time we have friends here from out of town who want a taste of Texas we’ll bring them here. This place is very Texas!

Even though we live 90 miles away, when we want good smoked meat with delicious sides, we make the drive!  We enjoy their hearty breakfast menu as well as lunch and dinner. Their free homemade hot yeast rolls and pico de gallo are to die for!  The service is exceptional as each employee goes out of their way to ensure that everything is to your satisfaction! Eat at the HCS on FM 2920 as it is hands down better than the other location.  Build us a HCS in Beaumont, Texas and we will eat there every meal!!

How anyone can eat a whole meal by themselves here is a wonder. We always split and still have leftovers. Never had anything on the menu that wasn’t delicious and fresh. We’ve come for breakfast and lunch. Best pecan pie hands down you can get at any restaurant. I’ve bought a whole one various times for special occasions and just to eat at home.

A good friend and I hit this place at least once a month. We both go out of our way to meet here. The food is superb, the place is clean, and the staff is extremely friendly. Prices seem to be inline with food of similar type and quantity. Great Beef and Sausage. I’m getting hungry again just writing this review.

Good food, great service, nice comfortable place to sit for big families (7 of us) like mine. Fun atmosphere, we loved it! Will definitely be back next time we’re in Katy.

Brisket is tops! You have 3 cut selections to choose from. They have sweet rolls and honey sweet corn bread mixed w/ the corn/ or jalapeno. It is available with every meal, to go or for there, self serve. Very big place. It is cafeteria style serving. They serve wine & beer. There are big double sinks posted near the serving line so you can wash up before and after you eat. One is even by the exit door. No need to find the bathroom. Also a designated door for ” To Go” orders. Parking area even by this door.
